Safestar supports video encoding in H.264 (AVC) and H.265 (HEVC) formats. For these formats to function properly, both hardware support and browser compatibility are required. Please note that the H.265 codec is often not supported by older computers with outdated operating systems or browsers.
To make compatibility verification easier, we have prepared a diagnostic window that allows you to test codec support.
The test can be found at Safestar: ACCOUNT> VIDEO DEVICES> CHECK BROWSER COMPATIBILITY (button in the vertical menu on the left side of the screen)
Note: If the test fails, it may mean that video encoded in that format will not be displayed.
